In a quiet Colorado mountain town, a homeless Iraq war veteran is brutally attacked—an act that may be tied to a dangerous secret from his past. Hannah Livingston, a police officer and former Army MP, sees a strength in Jake that he no longer believes he has. But when two murders thrust him into the center of an investigation, Hannah and Jake must navigate a treacherous path to uncover the truth. As they dig deeper, they confront dark forces willing to kill to keep the past buried. This gripping tale of trauma, redemption, and the unbreakable bond between combat veterans proves that sometimes survival means fighting for more than just your own life.
